Walter "Wally" Augustyn
1929 - 2012

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Walter "Wally", on April 20, 2012 at the Victoria Hospital. Walter was born on September 23, 1929 in Krydor, SK. On June 6, 1970, Walter married the love of his life, Evelyn (Listwan). Walter and Evelyn were blessed with two sons. Walter loved farming and farmed all of his life until he retired. He also worked part-time at the Liquor Board Store for 30 years. Walter loved curling, dancing and reading. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Evelyn; his two sons Gary (Amanda) and Terry (Allison); his siblings Ed (Sue) and Jean Sklar; his mother-in-law Ann Buan; nine sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends John and Edie Krawec. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Josephine; his brothers Stan and Alex and his father-in-law Walter. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 - 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
